It's not as simple as hooking up any old vacuum cleaner to the equipment. Sanding creates VERY fine dust particles that may infiltrate your heating system and be blown around the house long after the job is done. I have used most of the dust control systems available over the years. Some work better than others but none of them were perfect. The super fine dust would make it past the vacuum filter and eventually end up all over your house.
